Hello Folks, I am moving to Irving area in Mid July. My work place is closer to the DFW airport. Can fellow desis recommend areas we should be focussing on. List of things important are Temple, Decent Desi Community,Indian Grocery Stores amongst others. Please IM me or respond to this post.
Dallas has sucked big time so far. We have tried hard to smile at people when we go for a walk. In the Temple, we get the same feeling, no one makes you feel welcome at all. Kind of reminds me of being in an India. Gawd why did I move here, leaving such friendly folks from NY for this cold treatment.
Hi Anand, Welcome to DFW area. There are bunch of great cities close to DFW airport which offer good housing, grocery, great desi population, easy access to airport and freeways. Depending on your needs, you can choose between Irving or coppell. Good luck with your move and again, welcome to DFW
