Here's one actress who can make any TV actor turn green with envy. While most TV actors are fed up of playing the same or similar characters, Aalesha has managed to stay off the beaten track - at least so far. The beautiful actress became instantly popular as the ever tearful elder sister in the serial Behenein. And now, the versatile performer is set to tickle her fans with a comic role. In the highly popular serial, Phulwa, Aalesha has made a recent entry as Sharbati, the dim-witted sister-in-law of the main male protagonist. And her role provides the perfect light-hearted counterpoint against the latter's grim character. Aalesha, obviously, is quite pleased with the role. "The character of Sharbati is the opposite of that of Purva in Behenein. While I played a sacrificing sister in the latter, in Phulwa, I play a woman who is not quite there, if you know what I mean. It is a challenge to play this role and it's also refreshing at the same time. I'm quite enjoying it," gushes the petite beauty. With a wide variety of roles falling into her kitty easily, 'aal' seems to be well with Aalesha, what say?
