Hi, Where are you moving from? It does rain in Seattle but not all of the 12 months. These days the weather is really nice. I only find Nov and Dec the worst months but other than that I dont find rain too bothersome. It drizzles a lot of the days from Oct - Feb (maybe Sept - March). I have lived here 8 years and am not too bothered by rain at all. I dont have kids so dont know how kids react to the rain. The summer here is very nice, not too hot (except for few days here and there when it gets in 90s). I dont think weather should be an issue but then its just my opinion. Lets see what others have to say.
